Classic Beef Hard Shell Tacos

Classic Beef Hard Shell Tacos
Makes about 10 tacos

The key to these tacos is the seasoning mix. Here is what's in it and you can make adjustments to fit your taste.

Ingredients for taco seasoning mix:

¼ tsp garlic powder

¼ tsp onion powder

¼ tsp dried oregano

¼ tsp fresh ground black pepper

½ tsp kosher salt

½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes

½ tsp paprika

1 ½ tsp ground cumin

2 tsp chili powder

This will season 1 pound of ground beef.

Here is what you need for the tacos:

1 package hard corn taco shells

1 pound ground beef

1 TBS olive oil

And toppings of your choice:

Shredded lettuce, sour cream, shredded Mexican cheese, diced onions, diced tomatoes, salsa, fresh cilantro and the list goes on!

Here's what you need to do:

In a large pan heat the olive oil on medium high add in the ground beef and break it apart with a wooden spoon. While the beef is browning, sprinkle in the taco seasoning.

When the beef is cooked, remove it from the pan and into a serving bowl.

Warm the taco shells according to package directions.

Serve with all of your favorite fixings!  Let's Eat!!
