A Tampa 16-year-old trying to fly to the Midwest wound up outside the continental U.S. and in Puerto Rico!
Despite security and boarding passes, the teen flying out of Tampa on Frontier Airlines to Ohio, ended up in Puerto Rico. Logan Lose was supposed to visit his grandmother in Cleveland, but there was confusion when two flights left from the same gate with the Puerto Rico flight boarding first.
It was the teen’s first flight solo and apparently when he asked the Frontier employee if the plane was boarding she said yes and he was rushed on without his ticket being scanned.
Frontier has apologized for the mix up.
Logan was immediately flown back to Tampa on the same aircraft, landing at 3:30am, then he was accommodated on a flight to Cleveland about four hours later.
Hopefully Logan got some rest and as well as some quality time with Grandma!
