A man is accused of operating a brothel in Palm Beach County and forcing women to work there.

The Sheriff's Office says 73-year old Manuel Linares ran the prostitution ring out of a home in Lake Worth. Detectives say a woman from the Dominican Republic was recruited to work at what she thought was a spa. When she arrived, a man deputies say worked with Linares threatened to call law enforcement on her if she didn't agree to do the job.

She claims to have seen eight to 15 customers per day and was paid $25 each.

Linares faces charges of labor and sex trafficking, as well as living off the earnings of prostitution.
