The City of West Palm Beach has partnered with the local Elks Lodge to accept old American flags for those who are retiring their flags in favor of new ones.
The organization will have a ceremony, that follows the flag code for retiring the flags, after they collect them from the community.
You can drop off your flag at the WPB Elks Lodge 1352 on Belvedere Road or at any fire station in the city through the month of August as part of the Respect the U.S. Flag Program.
The Elks will also have a station at Clematis by Night events, On August 22nd and 29th, so you can drop off your flag then too.
